Meet Duncan Darrow

This truly essential non-profit organization is a lifeline to people on the East End who have been diagnosed with cancer. In his quest to learn everything he possibly could about cancer, and to share that information with the community, Duncan wrote Cancer Simplified, an explanation of cancer in layman’s terms to enhance patient literacy.

Meet Geoff Lynch and Bob Chaloner

July 18, 2015 | Geoff: After college I worked for a money management firm. When I was twenty-five, Dad asked me to work for him full time as Operations Manager. I had no idea it would become a lifelong endeavor. My father was injured in an accident and became severely handicapped, relying more upon us to run the business, and we made it work. So, it was partly tragedy that brought us all into the business, but it’s worked out for the best.

Meet Julie Ratner

April 23, 2015 | It is based on what was important to Ellen – creating a legacy so that all women on the East End have the kind of services and access Ellen had at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. We reach out to minority and under-served communities of women who wouldn’t ordinarily get those services and men, who get breast cancer too. Almost 100% of our money raised stays in the Hamptons where it helps do the most good.
